SanDot's News 2005
Welcome home "Chance" your were greatly missed and we've never been prouder of you. You sailed the Florida show circuit like a true champ. You were the single most beautiful, controlled and trained pap in the ring. What a class act!!!!

Everytime I look at Costa I can't help but think he is one of the most beautiful dogs I've ever seen.

Taking a much needed break from the show ring SanDot's had a wonderful Saturday - a playdate with over 70 papillons on hand. There are not many breeds that could run together off leash without serious conflicts. I'm so glad we chose the papillon.

Zeta, Costa, Kisame, First Lady and Chance (in bushes) for a brief moment reunite during the playdate long enough for me to snap this shot..
Having 70 paps on hand made for some interesting friendships and games. Tag your it seemed to be the favorite. I really think the dogs enjoyed being "It"

We attended another papillon playdate this weekend. Lots of wonderful dogs to watch, plenty of food to eat, and you can guess the favorite topic was dogs :-)

I arrived early enough at the Chattanooga show this weekend to observe different breeds from ring side. One thing I definitely noticed - the moon was full - I have always heard (tongue in cheek) that the moon affected the behavior of our wolfen progeny. Well it's TRUE. I watched dogs (including my own) run, waltz, hop, spin in circles, whine and howl(Kisame at 2:00 in the morning) the weekend away.

Other equally odd observances prior to the event. While noticing one of my paps(Chance) chewing (actually shredding ) some paper next to my sleeping son I (kiddingly) asked another pap(Costa) to take it away from him, he looked directly at me, walked over to Chance and snatched the paper away from him. "Ok" I said, since your so smart now why don't you wake up the sleepy head - you guessed it he did exactly that - licking a grumpy kid out of his slumber. The magic spell was finally broken when I asked him to round up dirty laundry :-)
The ladies had their first modeling assignment today.
Photographed to promote Dixie Pet's strollers.
